For this set up, you will need: Your wifi network and password written down, and your Alertify dashboard login information written down and ready
Step 1:
Open your Alertify dashboard and set up your account if you haven't already.
Step 2:
Plug in your Alertify device, wait a few seconds and then on your phone or laptop, connect to the WiFi network "Alertify AP"
TIP: To prevent your device from disconnecting, go to your wifi settings, click on your wifi name and turn off "autojoin". Don't worry, you can easily turn this on again once your device is set up
Step 3:
Open your browser and type in 192.168.4.1 in your address bar. Follow the instructions on the webpage to complete your device's set-up
Step 4:
Navigate to the "sensors" section of your dashboard to make sure your sensor has been registered, and wait a few minutes for it's name to appear and show as "online"
Step 5:
You are all set! Start customizing your Alertify sensor to your hosting needs via your dashboard and begin to prevent what you can't predict
